NRL Round 19, Tips & Previews, Thursday July 21st

BetDeluxe.Tips

The pointy end of the NRL season is here as teams begin to make their moves heading into the final third of the year.

Parramatta and Brisbane kickstart a huge Round 19.

parramatta vs. brisbane

july 21st 7:50pm

Parramatta and Brisbane get Round 19 underway with the money coming hard for the Eels to get the points here.

The Eels have won their last five against the Broncos and a win for them here will see them leap frog the Broncos into fifth and potentially fourth, depending on what Melbourne does in its game with South Sydney.

Going for Parramatta.

Suggested Bet: Parramatta -3.5 at $1.90

st george illawarra vs. manly

july 22nd 6:00pm

With Jake Trbojevic sidelined, Manly will need to be on its toes if it to keep up this strong run form when facing St George.

The Sea Eagles have collected the premiership points in four of their last five and should be able to find their way to another win here.

Suggested Bet: Manly -2.5 at $1.90

newcastle vs. sydney

july 22nd 7:55pm

With a top-eight spot up for grabs, Sydney just knows it must win against Newcastle despite being depleted with more injuries.

Sitili Tupouniua, Billy Smith and Siosiua Taukeiaho are all likely to spend extended periods on the sideline, so it does open the door for Newcastle to pinch this game.

Backing the Knights at the line.

Suggested Bet: Newcastle +10.5 at $1.87

canberra vs. new zealand

july 23rd 3:00pm

Canberra Raiders will look to keep themselves in the race for the finals when they play New Zealand at GIO Stadium.

The Raiders sit one game away from eight spot and come into this after knocking Melbourne 20-16 at AAMI Park last weekend in a win which will instil a huge amount of confidence.

Suggested Bet: Canberra -11.5 at $1.90

penrith vs. cronulla

july 23rd 5:30pm

Having only lost one game for the season, Penrith will look to keep its huge four-game gap atop of the NRL table intact when it faces the third-place Cronulla Sharks.

Takes a brave punter to bet against Penrith at the moment.

With Origin over, the Panthers can fully focus on their flag defence.

Suggested Bet: Penrith -12.5 at $1.90

south sydney vs. melbourne

july 23rd 7:35pm

Melbourne will be keen to rebound off a disappointing loss to Canberra last week when it travels to play South Sydney on the weekend.

The Storm have lost their three games and are in a bit of a form dip, while South Sydney has done the polar opposite having won its last three.

Think Melbourne can find its feet here and put a halt to this run of outs.

Suggested Bet: Melbourne Storm head to head at $1.77

canterbury vs. gold coast

july 24th 2:00pm

Nothing but pride can be salvaged when both Canterbury and Gold Coast go head to head.

In a game which pits 14th against 15th, the head scratching begins as to finding a winner in this one.

Titans have won the last three against the Bulldogs and it might be the trend to follow.

Suggested Bet: Gold Coast Titans head to head at $2.44

north queensland vs. wests tigers

july 24th 4:05pm

North Queensland can further solidify its spot inside the top two when it comes against the dismal Wests Tigers to round out the weekend.

The class gap between these teams is evident by the NRL ladder and there is way no way the Cowboys are coughing this up.

Suggested Bet: North Queensland -18.5 at $1.90
